COMMUNITY ACCESS GROUP

CAG services are provided to groups of individuals, with a staff to individual ratio of one to two or more, up to ten. CAG services are designed to provide oversight, assist with daily living, social skills, communication, and mobility skills building and supports in a group. CAG services may be provided at Beech Creek or in the community as appropriate for the skill being taught or specific activity supported.


COMMUNITY ACCESS INDIVIDUAL

CAI services are provided on a one to one staff to individuals basis. CAI services are directly linked to goals and expectations of improvement in skills. They are designed to be teaching and coaching in nature. These services assist adults in acquiring, retaining, or improving social skills and networking, independent use of community resources, and adaptive skills required for active community connections outside their home.


SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT

SE services consist of activities needed to obtain and sustain paid work by individuals, including job interest, location, development, supervision, training, and services and supports that assist individuals in achieving self-employment or employment. Job supervision, adapting equipment, adapting behaviors, transportation assistance, peer support, and/or personal care assistance during the work day.


COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL ALTERNATIVE

CRA services are individually planned and tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual. CRA is an option for adults who want to live on their own and be as independent as possible but need additional supports for this to become a reality. They will have their own room and may have up to 3 housemates. CRA services include assistance with activities of daily living, assistance in household care, assisting with or supervising self-administration of medication. These services also include assistance with personal shopping, recreation and other community activities.


COMMUNITY LIVING SUPPORT

CLS services are individually tailored supports that assist with learning and improving skills that promote an individual living in his/her own or family home. They may be provided in the home or community.


RESPITE SERVICES

KFI provide brief periods of support or relief for caregivers and/or individuals, or for unavoidable circumstances, such as a family emergency. They are provided in their home.


SPECIALIZED MEDICAL SUPPLIES

KFI will order and ship Specialized Medical Supplies as needed. This is a service we offer in addition to another service.
